Andrius: Here we're engaging each other to make the most of the MeshForum conference, May 1-4 in Chicago. I'm interested that this be a place and time where we make real progress in interconnecting our online networks. And that might mean that globally we inspire the attendees to work on behalf of our interests. My own interest is to build critical mass for a "peer-to-peer social networking system". I have outlined my own ideas as "We Learn to Stick Our Necks Out": http://www.openleader.com/index.php/OpenLeader/OpenLeader Another concern is how to build truly global networks that hook together the online networking capabilities of the wired world with the reach of broadcast technologies (such as WorldSpace?.com satellite radio) across the unwired world. Joy Tang http://www.onevillage.biz and Franz Nahrada http://www.globalvillages.info are looking to loop the two together. Finally, I note Shannon's pioneering work in leveraging our global networks to serve corporate challenges: http://www.openleader.com/index.php/OpenLeaderBiz/DaisyTeam We've developed an open ethic that lets us quickly assemble regional stars as needed, such as Guido Sohne http://www.sohne.net (Ghana), Sunil Abraham http://www.mahiti.org (India), Stanko Blatnik (Slovenia/Bosnia), Henry Migingo (Kenya), Neil McEvoy? http://www.ondemand-network.com (UK) and our team in Lithuania http://www.ms.lt
Kerry: Andrius I have put a link to open leader on my profile in ecademy also the email you sent about the flash mob would you be able to help me edit it so I can get away with posting it in ecademy on the front page to get more exposure, they will see it as an advert but if I can get it to look more like interesting info then I think it will attract a lot more people than just me mailing it out i have posted about the flash mob in my club Andrius: that's great, lets think about it, yes I will reply tomorrow Thank you, this is a big help Kerry: okay i just want to promote it as much as i can so the right curious people see it, it was quite funny as joel hodroff who is a social entreprenuer has been reading it already Andrius: that's really great - that's how our virtual flash mobs are supposed to work - that we're there for each other thank you, I'm very happy Kerry: i also posted it on vincent wrights linked in power forum as there are around 600 users on there as well Andrius: that's great - maybe let us know on the wiki - I will post your chat - and we can observe and perhaps follow up Kerry: I also sent it to Leon [Benjamin] as well Andrius: yes, that relates to his work very much
