Brickmaking FredKayiwa: Social Agriculture, April 24, 2007 In Uganda during rainy season like now in february, people make the mad[ soil mixed with water ] in that they wont fetch water to mix soild wityh for future brick making no what they do is to make some tranches and trap water and then pmake the mad and in next months they produce bricks for building this is were they get money from bricks and the Apirl season many people are constructing Actually my reaserch shows that people are now carrying out construction of buildings at ahigh speed which brings demand for bricks and there needs more empowerment to youths who carry out these projects.
And also i contacted some brick maker people here to help me train my people in the community the youths on the best ways of making bricks ihope they will have what to do after the training Bricks making and max pan making. I have found out another intresting project to my people in the village that they do make brics in order to earn a living and isaw that the brics are made from soil after mixture of soil and wwater top get mad and another type is made from clay and sad this is the most expensive block around because its is so firm compare to the soild made bricks. i was so toughed because it reqiures no much capital but to be honest it equires much effort and energy because it pass through many stages and the last stage is to cook the bricks wchich needs alot of firewood but of course here we have alot of forests were we get firewood that would not be much problem i guess this projects is also vey perfect. PROJECT TITLE: BRICK MAKING
The project will have to start with two group men and youths then after they sale the bricks and the money is divided to other groups like that. This will help to increase the income of these people's household And they will learn skills to build their own home. AboutThisPage
