ProWiki and WorkNets

Skype, February 3, 2009: Andrius Kulikauskas: Hi Helmut, I'm visiting Franz these next two weeks in Vienna and will be working on our websites for Worknets. It would be good to connect with you regarding ProWiki when you are free. How can I contribute to the code?

Helmut Leitner: The source of ProWiki is open for all. If you develop an extension you can suggest it to be included in the distributed code. You should have a working example on the net and a sufficient description. … BTW I had major differences with Franz about organizational issues around GIVE and some projects we did together. The conflicts were not resolved, so it's just about to end in separation. Don't think us connected or collaborating in the future.

Andrius Kulikauskas: Helmut, thank you for explaining. … What you say I suppose is true of all open source projects. … I am interested to work more closely together … but if it does'nt matter to you … then I will try to avoid altering the main engine of ProWiki … and just focus on templates … but there are some cases where it would be good to alter the engine … so I will be in touch!
