Along with Donna Dubinsky and Dileep George, founded Numenta, a company which is developing a new kind of computer memory modeled after human neocortex. It is based on a theory of the neocortex described in his and Sandra Blakeslee's book On Intelligence. There is a forum with several hundred posts.
