AndriusKulikauskas August 23, 2009 11:14 CET I have created a 10 minute Video summary "I Wish to Know" that summarizes all of my philosophical work.

I Wish to Know (the same video, at www.internetinetv.lt)

Script has the script, links and stills.

IWishToKnow was created for the Truth exhibit in Tampere, Finland curated by MarkusPetz.

See Summary for my notes of all my work!

Synopsis

Is it possible to know everything and apply that knowledge usefully? Andrius Kulikauskas narrates a 10 minute summary of the results of his quest. In the first half, he catalogues conceptual structures which reflect the limits of the mind, starting with the concept of everything and divisions of everything. In the second half, he proposes a theory to explain these structures in terms of God's going beyond himself to explore whether God exists even when God doesn't exist. The video includes dozens of conceptual diagrams and three visual metaphors: a house as the limits of the mind which he explores, a statue as a conceptual framework which he makes tangible, and a story of a fish, in reverse, from death to life, as a shift in thinking from life to eternal life.

September 3, 2009: Your YouTube Masterpiece: WOW. You've summarized Everything. And God too. BRAVO! John

Flemming Funch, September 3, 2009 That's very impressive, Andrius. I've been thinking of getting into video and you're inspiring me. I like how you used the video content to interplay with or contrast with the presentation layer and your words.

Flemming, I'm glad you saw it. It was great to have my life's quest come together. I'm living in the village of Dukiskes, Lithuania with Zenonas Anusauskas http://www.internetinetv.lt and his family and he has an Internet TV station and encouraged me to start filming. What was great was it was very quick. For the video I filmed different visual ideas as they came up (like the day my friend Rimas cooked the live fish and they were flopping around in the store and I thought to film that and the rest). It took one day to edit all the video (the 10 minute length limitation was nice). And then I spent a few days writing the text, independently, cramming everything in. And the amazing thing is that they go together very well even though they were basically distinct works. So my theory is that if you express an idea with a narrative line (whether video, music, text, poem, etc.) and you just lay down the lines alongside each other, then they will magically resonate on their own without any kind of calculation (or you can adjust 5% but 95% is done). Especially if one appreciates the "mistakes" and makes good use of them, for example, I was filming myself making the model of my statue and I didn't realize that the sun would set into the camera but that worked out so beautifully but it was an accident or even a disaster, depending on how you look at it. So this kind of movie making is great because it's comparatively effortless. You're a wonderful writer and thinker and I imagine artist and so it's exciting what you will create.

Ming: Synergy I like that kind of thing. Where you put things together that really were separate creations, but then they turn out to fit together fine after all. Surprising juxtapositions can be a very good thing.

a-d: Sept 6, 2009 Thanks for the Quaker link! What you are working with, so to speak, Andrius, is (GENUINE) SPONTANEITY!!... allowing LIFE to happen and do Its creation through you!! That is to be a true Co-Creator with Life!.... as we all are EXPECTED to be/come! Congrats!

a-d, September 12, 2009: maybe is a little "on the side" of our topics, but it is soooo mind blowing and fascinating so I wan to share it with you Andrius , your friends and all of us here on NCN.

I'm posting all this, inspired by your "Economy of Dreams" which seems quite interesting and I love the idea that "regular" people are writing from their Heart, what is happening in their world, how to make life what they know it to be possible etc etc. I will indeed write something there soon! I did miss the Chat... I don't even know if I had been able to join!.... anyhoo, why don't you A (or Anybody who joined )tell us what was said?
